Refund policy

At Budari, we are dedicated to providing high-quality products and excellent customer service. Please review our refund and return policy carefully before making a purchase.


1. NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS

Certain types of items are non-returnable due to hygiene, safety, or regulatory reasons. These include:

  • Vape Cartridges (Cloud Carts) and Edibles: All sales are final. Returns or refunds will not be accepted unless:
    • The incorrect item or strain is shipped.
    • The item arrives broken (see Damages and Issues for details).
  • Perishable Goods and Custom Products: Personalized or custom orders cannot be returned.
  • Sale Items and Gift Cards: Non-returnable under any circumstances.

2. RETURNABLE ITEMS

We accept returns on eligible items within 7 days of receiving your order. Eligible items include:

  • Batteries
  • Accessories
  • Future Non-Consumable Products

Conditions for Return

  • The item must be in its original condition: unused, unworn, with tags, and in the original packaging.
  • Proof of purchase (receipt or order confirmation) is required.

3. HOW TO INITIATE A RETURN

To start a return, follow these steps:

  1. Contact Us: Email hello@budari.co.za within 7 days of receiving your order. Include your order number and a detailed description of the issue.
  2. Await Approval: We will review your request and, if approved, provide a return shipping label and instructions on where to send your item.
  3. Ship the Item: Securely package the item and include all original packaging and accessories. Items sent back without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

4. DAMAGES AND ISSUES

Inspect Upon Delivery

  • Please inspect your order upon receipt. Contact us within 48 hours of delivery if:
    • The item is defective or damaged.
    • You receive the wrong item.
    • You are shipped an incorrect strain (for vape cartridges or edibles).
    • Your Cloud Cart arrives broken.

Broken Cloud Carts

  • Replacement Policy: Budari does not replace Cloud Carts that are broken after delivery. However, if your Cloud Cart arrives broken due to shipping, please notify us immediately within 48 hours of receipt.
  • Resolution: We will evaluate the issue and provide a replacement or refund as appropriate.

5. EXCEPTIONS / NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS

The following items cannot be returned:

  • Vape Cartridges and Edibles: Returns and refunds are not accepted unless:
    • The incorrect strain is shipped.
    • The item arrives broken during delivery.
  • Perishable Goods: Returns not accepted.
  • Sale Items and Gift Cards: Non-returnable under any circumstances.

6. EXCHANGES

The fastest way to ensure you receive the product you want is to return an eligible item and place a new order once your return is accepted.


7. REFUNDS

Processing

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved:

  • Refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 3 business days.
  • Original shipping costs are non-refundable.

Bank Processing Time

Please note, it may take additional time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.

Delayed Refunds

If more than 15 business days have passed since your refund was approved and you haven’t received it, please contact us at hello@budari.co.za.


8. SHIPPING COSTS

  • Customer Responsibility: You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error (e.g., defective or wrong item shipped).
  • Non-Refundable Shipping Costs: Original shipping costs are non-refundable.
  • If approved, we will provide a return shipping label for eligible returns.

9. POLICY UPDATES

We reserve the right to modify this refund and return policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website.
